When I was on the crew of the historic tallship Adventuress, years ago, I have only one solidly embarrassing moment. I wont bore you with the details, but I needed to shampoo my hair very badly, and of course couldn't because I was on a ship in the ocean.
Back then, the only dry shampoo options were like putting powdered oatmeal on your hair- it never cleaned and it mostly stayed in, looking like dandruff.
They have a:
- Strengthening Dry Shampoo (with B12 and keratin)
- Volumizing Dry Shampoo (with mineral clay and citrus)
- Smoothing Dry Shampoo (with Vitamin H and silk proteins)
- Moisturizing Dry Shampoo (with Witch Hazel, citrus, and aloe vera)
Seriously, saving water AND still getting the experience you need with your shampoo regimine? That's a win.
TRESemme's Dry Shampoo lin is formulated to absorb excess oil and remove odor, with a clean, fresh citrus scent.
You know where this product rocks? Camping.
They even have a list of Top Hair Products for School, in case you live in a dorm with zero hot water (*ahem*).
How does dry shampoo work, you ask? Totally simple.
Just shake it vigorously before use and between bursts (so you get even distribution), lift hair and spray it at the roots (where the dirt is) in short bursts, about 8 inches away from your scalp. It's not like hair spray, where you continuously spray, just stick to short bursts.
Leave it in for about 2 minutes.
Use your fingertips or a brush to distribute it evenly.
And if the nozzle clogs, of course, just rinse it under warm water until it starts working again.
