C is for Cookie

As part of a Tomoson promotion, I was recently able to try Smiley Cookies brand Halloween cookies. I've never ordered food to be shipped to me, so I wasn't quite sure what would happen.
And boy have I been missing out!

These buttery little jack-o-lantern cookies are the perfect Halloween treats! They're built like a sugar cookie, but not overly sweet (more like shortbread with moderate icing). They were a HUGE hit at my office, where I passed them off as homemade (it's part of a 'don't lay me off' strategy I cooked up in a panic). One coworker had 4....and I myself had 3. Whoops! One arrived broken, so that shouldn't count anyway.

There were 18 of these little guys in a bag that arrived on my doorstep without incident. They tasted like they had been baked 1-2 days before I got them. They're also nut-free, kosher, and under 100 calories each. I got a bag, but you can also order them individually wrapped for Trick-or-Treaters, which makes them great as Halloween gifts.

I wish I could share with you the pictures that I took unwrapping and eating these cookies, but my camera corrupted all my photo files when I tried to upload them. So I'm borrowing the company's stock photos. These are exactly what the cookies look like!

You can learn more about Smiley Cookies via their Facebook page, and as a special treat for my followers, you can get 10% off any of their unwrapped Halloween cookie gifts! Just use the coupon code BLOG10 when you check out.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
