This light is a bit larger than hand size, but lightweight and powerful.
This emergency 3-in-1 Cree LED light from AYL
is a nifty multi-tasking light that's great to keep in the car (in case of emergency) or take while camping.
The magnetic butt end is awesome- small bolts, bits, and tools easily stay on it, and it's strong enough to create a hands-free option when near metallic objects (like a fridge).
The flashlight beam isn't the best or worst I've seen, in terms of strength, but bright enough for 90% of the the uses I'd need it for (checking behind furniture, walking at night, etc).
And definitely bright enough for illuminating projects!
The LED handle function is nifty in providing a wide range of light for evening projects or reading by- especially as you can go hands free for this.
Even the diffused, wider light is still bright enough for general purposes.
The red blinking light setting I haven't had to use yet (thankfully), but it seems good in an emergency situation.
You should always have an emergency kit in your car, just in case, with emergency flares, flags and/or lights, fresh drinking water, a warm blanket, some protein bars, a first aid kit, an all-purpose screwdriver, and a powerful flashlight like this one.
