On the continuing theme of obscure yet attractive gentlemen, allow me to present:
Aside from having an awesome last name and some lovely acting talent, Eddie is British and only a few months younger than myself. Also, the man rocks the Medieval and Renaissance garb. This may have influenced my crush on him a wee bit.
(I'm really digging his smile)
The Pillars of the Earth, as Jack Jackson
Tess of the D'Urbervilles, as Angel Clare
The Other Boleyn Girl, as William Stafford
Elizabeth: The Golden Age, as Thomas Babington
The Good Shepherd, as Edward Wilson, Jr.
- Played Viola opposite Mark Rylance in "Twelfth Night" in a 400th anniversary production at the Globe Theatre, London in 2002 (this is significant because it's one of my favorite Shakespearean plays, and because usually a woman plays Viola...color me impressed, Eddie).
- He won the Tony award in 2010 for his performance in the stageplay "Red".
- He won the Laurence Olivier Best Supporting Actor Award in March 2010 for his role in "Red".
- He is single. (That cheering noise coming from over here? It's nothing, promise)
(Man in garb...with flintlock! *swoon*)
